Creating Picture Books through Fun and Funk

An immersive presentation that takes the audience on a journey of the creation of picture books and how to get the rhythm into the rhyme. Chris will briefly talk about his passion to write children's books that encourage kids to ‘read for the joy of reading'.

Brain Strain Creative Rhyme

In this high energy workshop, students will be 'lucky-dipping' random settings, characters and objects to create a simple narrative in prose. The group will then rewrite the story in wacky rhyming verse!
