Real-Life Can Inspire: Humour: Psychology! Goats!

I'll talk about how I write humour in fiction and used real life as inspiration for my YA novel, NIGHT SWIMMING - including the role that psychology can play to help develop characters and create realistic - and funny - fiction.

Writing Authentic, Diverse Characters

We'll explore how to create realistic, well-rounded characters with distinct voices, and generate plots even when you're stuck for ideas. We'll also discuss writing diversity and how to write what you don't know in a way that rings true.
