Chris Collin is a children's author who, through his books, encourages children to 'read for the joy of reading!' He has three titles; Funky Chicken: A Bushy Tale of Crocs and Chooks, A Bug Called Doug & his latest release Funky Chicken: Chooks in Space. Chris presents/performs to audiences of all ages with FUN as the main ingredient!.
Aleesah Darlison is a multi-published, award-winning author. She has written over twenty books including Spider Iggy, Little Meerkat, Puggle’s Problem, Warambi, Ash Rover, and the Unicorn Riders Series. Aleesah’s stories explore themes of anti-bullying, courage, teamwork, protecting the environment and Australian animals. Aleesah’s talks and workshops suit all ages. .
Pat Flynn lives on Queensland’s Sunshine Coast. An ex professional tennis player and teacher, he now writes realistic fiction with a dose of humour for young people. His latest book is called Tom, one of the boys featured in Penguin’s Stuff Happens series.
Dave Hackett (aka Cartoon Dave) has been writing and illustrating books since the Backstreet Boys were cool.
A regular on Australian children’s TV, Dave has presented cartooning workshops in more schools & libraries than you could poke a stick at. He loves to eat lollies, gets up while it’s dark and knows way too much about 1980s music. Dave lives in the Noosa Hinterland
I am a Queensland author and teacher from the Sunshine Coast and am currently based in Gympie. I have had five published books. My most recent books are Going Fishing & Going Camping (picture books) and Midget Bones’ Diary, a quirky diary ‘written’ by a feisty terrier. All three books were published in 2014. My other books are D.O.G., a junior novel and Dog Logic:a pooches guide to dogs behaving badly.

Shearing time and mushrooming were my favourite things when I was a kid. I now live on the Sunshine Coast where I cannot tell if I can eat the wild mushrooms! When I am not teaching, reading, or writing, I am walking the dog or cooling off in the pool.
Judy Paulson (Maleny) has been writing and illustrating children’s picture books, following her career as an Early Childhood Teacher. Her unique approach to illustrations includes figures constructed out of felt, wool and wire. Her first picture book ‘Baby Tawnies’ (about two tawny frogmouths) was published by Random House 2012.
Elaine Ouston lives in Kilcoy, Queensland. She has a Master of Letters in Creative Writing. She edits for other writers and teaches writing to adult students at Gondor Writers' Centre. Her four published children’s books vary from a picture book to 2 books in a fantasy series that is based around the Megafauna of Australia, The Mystery of Nida Valley, for 9 –16 year-olds
