Dr Ginna Brock is a lecturer at the University of the Sunshine Coast, teaching into English Literature, Creative Writing, and Game Analysis courses. She loves words and learning how to craft language specifically to create ideas that resonate.

Her scriptwriting and poetry have been published in multiple journals. Ginna currently is a co-host of a podcast called Life Inspired by Poetry where she and a co-host discuss poems, chat with local artists, and attempt to understand the impact of poetry on society and its role in shaping our worldviews.

Workshop: Honing your poetic voice (Yrs 6-10)

Using a few famous poems as examples, students will practice the technique of poetic emulation to produce their own poems.
